Community & Impact
Organisations & leadership
Building communities, running programmes, and advocating for structural change in how Nigeria's technology ecosystem works, particularly for women and people in regions outside Lagos.
Founded G3Women to address a structural gap: the absence of infrastructure for women in digital technology across northern Nigeria. The organisation began operating in September 2023 and was formally registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission on 10 March 2025 (IT Number 8329018). I hold two formal roles: Chairman with governance authority over the board of trustees, and CTO with sole responsibility for all technical architecture, platform development, and digital infrastructure.

G3Digital Academy
academy.g3women.orgBuilt from scratch as G3Women's CTO: a serverless learning management system deployed on Google Cloud Run with automated CI/CD via Google Cloud Build. The platform's multilingual architecture delivers courses natively in English, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo. Each language is a first-class architectural decision in the database schema, not a translation layer.
Includes Aunty Ada, a context-aware AI learning companion built on Google Gemini that adapts its responses to the learner's current lesson, language, and quiz state. Not a generic chatbot, but a companion embedded in the learning flow.
Google's global programme for women in technology, operating across more than 80 countries. The Ambassador role is an appointment awarded to individuals who demonstrate both the credibility to represent the programme and the capacity to build something concrete from it. The programme I built under WTM Kano has run continuously for four years.
